exams!

Exams are starting next week! A semester has gone past so quickly! I'm sorta busy studying these days so I have not been updating.

How's everyone? I have finally managed to get the tagboard out and included some links. Those who want to be included can just let me know, I will be glad to put you in.

It is getting colder here, like it was 15 degrees top yesterday. I'm going to study now! hopefully...

Food!

I really like cooking! here are some pictures of what I have managed to make so far!
Fried rice. I had a nasty incident after making it! I was removing my contacts before bed and because I was dealing with red chilli for the fried rice, when I wore my contacts again the next day, my eye were stinging and I had to wear spectacles! But the fried rice is nice.

Cantopop!

I am currently learning how to sing a cantonese song by alex fong lik-sun, <> or good heart good reward. Its a nice song and I can refine my cantonese! I suddenly feel so in touch with my roots! I'm listening to this song on loop now! after I'm finished with this will go and listen to the other canto songs my friend passed to me.

Yesterday, I was participating in a research project, and after the "experiment", the researcher chatted with me and asked me where I'm from. He then added, "Hong Kong?" I was stunned. I wanted to ask him why did he guess I was from Hong Kong. Because that is sort of true. But I didn't. Maybe I have the Hong Kong face still even after my whole life in Singapore. I'm not complaining!

crutches!

I'm currently supposed to be on crutches for an assignment and it is not a nice experience! It is very tiring and my hands were shaking after I walked with crutches for about 15mins. Normally it takes only 10mins to walk back home from school, but with the crutches, it takes half an hour! And I'm sweating profusely by the time I arrive back home. I will have chances to use it again during the weekend. Its really an experience and I will be able to emphatise with patients next time!

Yesterday, I finished one large pizza for dinner all by myself! That's very bad!!
